RSS - Call for residency // Making neighborhood_4_Altered Alterities. Barcelona, Spain. Deadline: 17.07. 2016.

Jiwar Barcelona is inviting  1 local artist and 2 international artists to develop a project on the them of neighborhoods.

The project Making neighborhoods was born in 2013 thanks to the collaboration with the South African organization Africa Centre. At the time Jiwar hosted the South-African anthropologist and photographer Sydelle Willow Smith with a project called Making neighborhoods, that turned into the name for Jiwar’s project. With “Making neighborhood” Jiwar suggests a critical and creative reflection on the complex situation of living together in the city.

The residency will take place from the 14th of November till the 22nd of December 2016.

New deadline for submission: 17th of July. Results announced on: 1st of August 2016.
