How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

With this grant, I was able to take part in a theatre workshop in the UK. During this workshop, I have definitely developed competencies in the training and discovered new approaches to teaching the methods at its core. The artistic exchange through Holding discussion with Phillip Zarrilli and Kaite O'Reilly about the theatre performance ' Empty Cassette' I was directing then helped develop and refine me new piece further. There were a number of suggestions that I took up and incorporated in the piece as soon as I returned to Jordan. This exchange contributed to the realization of my artistic project. It enriched the performance which premiered on 22nd August 2013 in Amman. Also, there was a total of eleven participants (excluding the two hosts - The Llanarth Group) along with international international students and UK professional practitioners or university teachers which undoubtely brought cultural diversity to the project.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

My artistic projects are mainly about the human being, our existence that is constantly troubled and threatened by the continuous wars. And our constant attempts to create a better place to us and future generations to live in, through dialogue, art and exchange. So exchange, networking and international mobility are core to the content and achievement of my artistic projects.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

This experience increased my personal competences and skills at a quicker pace in addition to learning new techniques and methods. Also in such an intense period exchange of notes, ideas and experiences with other participants is very enriching to one's personal development and artistic projects whether they are directly related to the visit or not.
