How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

I participated at the international art festival Water tower art fest, which took place in Sofia, Bulgaria from 24 to 30 of June. There I exhibited photography works and video-art work. This trip helped me learn how to build my exhibition as a part of large group-exhibition, it helped me to develop connection with curators and introduce my works to people from the art scene that came to visit the art fest. I met artists from many places and different disciplines, and I learned about new things concerning contemporary art world. I also made contact with the NGO IME Organization, which supports the cultural production and cultural life in the Balkan region, and strives to connect the region with other parts of Europe and the World.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

I feel that exchanging ideas and making connections abroad is very essential to my artistic work, because the art scene in Israel is very small and it's important to see what is going on in the world.
