How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

The trip allowed my participaton in the /Sin/ 2. Video Art & Performance Festival in Ramallah where I was invited by the organizers of the Instants Festival from Marseilles. I was able to set up and exhibit my audio/video installation O-tok, give my Artist Talk to the public in Al Mahatta Gallery in Ramallah and curate and present a selection of films and videos by Croatian women artists in A.M. Quattan Foundaton. The trip was very important for me as it opened for me opportunities to meet fellow professionals and artists and create further contacts and networks. As a result of that I am now invited to participate in an Artist Residency at La Chambre d'eau in France. I used my participation in the S:in festival to get more on-sight and first hand information about the city of Ramallah and Palestine and made a video piece on the location for my work in progress project Horizon.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

I have definitely gained more experience and sense of initiative during the funding research. Also, I have announced the PR for the participation of Croatian artists at the sin festival and sucesfully got the coverage of it in Croatian media.
