How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

This grant contributed to the realization of my project by helping me to promote my work and the work of my company on different levels. Our company is a circus company interested in the relation between dance and circus. Thanks to this trip we had the opportunity to present our work for the first time in Croatia and within the frame of a dance festival, which is very important to us because it potentially opens a new circuit for us for artistic exchange.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

Promoting networking in international projects, gathering people from different countries around a creative projects is a vital way to give birth and grow new and interesting artistic discourses. Our reality now is international and we consider this as a force, an open field of possibilities to create and invent new ways of production for artistic work.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

For young companies and starting projects like ours, such a travel experience is an essential part of the grow of a project, we as performers deepen our work by performing for different audiences in different countries and getting their feedbacks. This is also a very important support in order to create relation between the different cultural agents that are present in all creation projects. This opens the possibilities for networking and international collaborations that are vital nowadays.
