How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

In this trip I took part in the exhibition happening in the Beirut Exhibition Center “Journeys Through our Heritage”, I met other artists and the organizers Janine Maamari and Marie Tomb. The exhibition had many visitors already and is having great success.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

Yes I think networking, exchange and international contacts vital to all artistic projects.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

It is mainly about exchange and discovering new places and new people that helps the artistic creativity to grow. For example one of my projects “The Kino Projekt” is a traveling cinema that screens amateur films and video art. In each edition I show the films that were discovered in other cities. So each city I install the cinema in for me as in experience that is based on improvisation and flexibility.
