How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

I was able to develope my project through developing a dialogue of exchange and sharing of experiences, in order to spur dynamic interactions between artists and audiences, and to provide local practitioners with a space to experiment. This experience gave me the possibility to extend and continue exploring my project through this collective experience with local practitioners and spectators from Lebanon. It had been also very important for me to meet and get acquainted with the activities that Zoukak is developping in Lebanon.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

This cultural exchange is important, because I feel it´s necessary to create networks as a way to exchange and expand our work. To create more dynamic interactions beyond state borders. And allow ourselves to be affected by these encounters. The situation in my country is becoming more and more difficult in the artistic field, (as the general dynamic of all the country). That means that the we need to open other possibilies to expose and share our works.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

This experience had been really very rich. To get to know their realities and the way their art is developped in this country has touched me deeply. Art and life can´t be separate and you can feel that a lot in the Beirut dailylife and in the way artistes produce their works.
