Part of the workshop included personal meeting with key leading European decision makers such as , European broadcasting network representatives (WDR- Germany, ZDF/ARTE Germany TG4- Ireland, RAI Sat- Italy, Duna Television- Hungary and more…) European fund representatives (UK Film Council, Film Fund Luxemburg, Region Ile-de-France and more…), European distribution companies (First Hand Films- Switzerland, ARTE France Cinema, m-appeal- Germany and more…), European markets & festivals (Arc 1950 Coproduction Village- France…), film labs (TorinoFilmLab- Italy, and more) and European production companies (Agat Films & Cie / Ex Nihilo - France, Back Up Films- France and more), part of them gave their artistic opinion and input about my project and gave me their suggestions how should I proceed to develop and produce my film . Part of them is in Contact with me and might cooperate with me and support the production of the film. In the last EAVE news letter published worldwide I and my project were elected as the most successful ones in the Belgrade workshop!
How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?
Most of my projects are co -productions. The theme of my project has worldwide potential and I believe that cooperation with Europe is essential for my project. I want my film to be a success in Europe and I want European audience to see it in the cinemas, in order to fulfill that- I must have the advise of my Europeans colleagues from Europe.
Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?
I'm making a film about a subject that interests not only in Israel but also other countries. It's under the theme of "Human rights", so After this workshop I know what I should "deliver" in this film to other countries, what other countries are expecting this film to be, and now I know better which direction to take my film to (Artistically and creatively), I had the chance a well to meet other production companies from Europe (Mainly from France and Germany) that giving cinema and Production Facilities that I'm sure I'll use and cooperate in my future projects.
