How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

In our time in Turkey we met with 10 artists from Turkey and Europe who are active in artistic social work. We exchanged our experiences and gave workshops to each other with the aim to feedback and learn from each other. In the 8 days of the workshop we exchanged a lot on methods in and approaches to artistic social work. Without the RCF I would not have been able to join the workshop and thus exchange with my colleagues.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

For me the possibility to exchange with other social artists from Europe and Turkey was very helpful to develop my understanding of my personal artistic work and the methods I am using in social art workshops. Giving each other workshops and feedback was a great chance to reflect and be reflected. I am sure I will be able to use the network we were building during the workshop for further projects. I am very happy to know colleagues in other countries I can exchange ideas and information on the topic of social Art.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

As already mentioned I learned a lot during the project I joined from other artists and their ways of giving workshops and the methods they used. During some organized workshop sessions I gained especially knowledge in the topic of group awareness and trust building. In the discussions on Social Art I developed my understanding of this topic further.
