How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?
At First by this grant I was able to take part in two artistic educational workshops, one artistic meeting and could give a dance theatre workshop back in Turkey. 1. Terzoploulos Ancient Greek Theatre Method trainnig for Actors. 2. Clown Workshop training and public space performance. 3. Artistic meetings for creating project in Berlin. 4. Back in Turkey I organized a workshop in izmir, Karaburun where I could give the experiences about Ancient Greek Theatre movement training, clown training and dance theatre which I included them into my own workshop called: "From Energy to Expression Dance Theatre Workshop", September 2017. By organizing workshop I could exchange the artistic education with more people in local, with 8 more people in İzmir, Karaburun workshop actualized in September 2017, and with 20 people in İstanbul, workshop will be actualized in 2017 December. This training workshops generated local exchanges and cultural developments. With the Internationally related artistic projects (which is founded in Berlin and İstanbul) contributed to our cultural diversity, we could plan three different nationality culturally diversified projects from Turkey, Germany, Romania.
How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?
International communication contacts, networking, exchanging information with different artists has shown me we are different but at the same time so similar, and we can appreciate our differences, start new different ways of looking into life, solve problems differently, use time differently and at the end we can work together very smoothly by respecting each others personality, work ad effort. Three different Nationality friends from Turkey, Germany, Romania have helped me a lot. We put the first seeds of out project in Berlin. For creating project next period in 2018. Creating in Greece with Ancient Greek Theatre network of Terzopoulos and Clown group had teach me a lot about how to create a collobarative work. And in İzmir, Karaburun organizing my own workshop, sharing the information with more local people gave me more responsibility for sharing the information ı gained and delivering a nice dance film project at the end gave us a big fulfillment of creating and producing together. I fell very fulfilled with gratitude.
