How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

I'm a documentary photographer and this residency was very interesting because it was focused only on that photography subject. The works were exhibited in Festival Encontros da Imagem (in Portugal) and Bursa (in Turkey). It will be exhibited in other places and festivals in the future.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

It's a very important way of creating an interesting network of professionals that help to develop and promote the work.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

This residency project was a very interesting experience to learn and work with international photographers from the contemporary art scene. Also, it helped me develop my skills and create one project to include in my professional portfolio. Now I have more experience and ideas to keep creating new projects and share them with other professionals. I'll have the chance to meet in the workshops and portfolio reviews.
