How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?
I was guest of Dabateatr compagny which is really well established in Marocco and supported by the Goethe Institut. I benefit therefor from this network and met a lot of people that they were, most of them, present at my end residency restitution. During the whole residency I met actors, directors musicians from Rabat, Algeria, Marocans who live in France. Jaouad Essounani invites me to lead a creation with Dabateatr Nadine Muesler put me in contact with L’Boulevard radio (Casablanca) to work with them. This radio is supported by the Goethe Institut and the CCF. They already have some radio partnership in France and Germany. I'm already invited in September to participate to some radio workshops in Casablanca and in November for one month of radiophonic creation.
How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?
I’m first fascinated by sounds and languages and the heart of my work is our human perception as body, subjective bodies with their own memories, cultures, imaginations… To be in different contexts, hear new sounds, meet artists, people is really important for my artistic process.
Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?
Work in Rabat puts me in a new place. I composed the solo piece mostly working in outdoor, streets…
