How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?

Silsilah project is an annual contemporary dance part time educational program. This edition started in september 2017 until April 5th produced by center rèzodanse Egypt with the support of (EU ,Lycée fransais d'alexandrie, french Institute ). The RCF supported the project by providing one flight ticket from paris to Alexandria and back for the main trainer for a residency between 17 Dec 2017 until 25 Jan 2018 this helped to extend the period of the educational process and opened spaces for discussion and exchanging experiences between the instructor and the participants, it also helped to improve the quality of the final performance.

How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?

It helped to open new perspectives for me as a trainer while sharing my experience with 18 intelligent participants from different backgrounds full of passion for dance which has added a lot to my artistic experience also the collaboration with Berengere valour was very productive, we agreed that it's a program for exchange as such that it is an educational opportunity for the participants and the instructors as well.

Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?

I shared with the participants some dance skills ( following tempo , work on written choreography, improvisation skills, instant composition) also art theories , and the most important is sharing my experience as a professional dancer starting off in Alexandria so I lived what they are living now but twelve years ago understanding their difficulties.
