How did this grant contribute to the realization of your project in regard to artistic exchange, local cultural development and/or the promotion of cultural diversity?
About the local cultural development, my project was based inside a house of one of the citizen of Malta for two weeks, and this put me in direct contact with the local coomunity of Sliema thanks to Tony Terrible that was my space doner.
Tony introduced me from the major to the all community of Sliema and Valletta helping me to collect data for my creation.
How does exchange, networking and international contacts contribute to the development of your artistic and cultural project?
At the base of each artist there is a fine network and contacts and without it doesn't matter how good artist you can be, without a net of contact and place where exchange you work, is impossible to create a solid future.
This is why place like festival such as Valletta 2018 are great opportunity to meet people from everywhere that could might be interested in your work.
I have the opportunity to meet many people and few organizer of other festival in Europe.
Can you elaborate on the learning and knowledge you have gained and shared throughout this experience?
This experience in Malta, helped my and my aesthetic of the work i do and would like to elaborate.
It was the first time i worked completely alone without assisters or dancers around me, so i had to organize my work differently, and to create a dance performance inside a 3 floor house it was quite a challenge.
Organize and crete your own works without an external eyes is was no easy job, so i had to start thinking as if i was watching my self from the outside, after this phase i had to choose which part of this create kick out or keep it.
The procession of decisions it look like easier when you are alone but it done't always work like this, so i learn that have another head who can help you to see things from a different prospective is always need it.
