What was the funding used for ?

The resources have been used to gather and to organize the contemporary art activities in Diyarbakir since the 2000s to our day. Materials have been purchased for the archive. A research assistant has been hired to work on the archive. Purchased materials: sound recording device, 6 external hard drives: 900 EUR Payment made to the assistant for the research (6 months): 2100 EUR

How did this funding contribution provide sustainability to your organisation and improve the quality of the implementation of your work ?

The material support has made our work easier. Our assistant has helped create a cohesiveness for the work and we were able to access details on the events through the work of this person. One of our goals was to reach out to the artists in the region and to create their portfolios. Thanks to this grant, we reached 91 artists and created artist files for 58.
