SALLE SORMIOU - The challenges of international mobility: the circulation of views. Programmes dedicated to international mobility are powerful professional levers for artists and cultural operators. Moreover, they are the vectors of a displacement of representations and subjectivities, of a circulation of images and narratives that create other relationships in the Euro-Mediterranean space. They help to displace geo-political hierarchies and open up other perspectives for dialogue and cooperation in the present.

 

Partners : the Roberto Cimetta Fund, Institut du Monde Arabe, Institut Français « nafas», and the emergency programme in support of the Lebanese art scene.

  • « Support for cultural mobility in the Mediterranean » 

 

Ready, steady, go! The aim of this workshop is to help you develop your mobility project with a view to supporting your professional career path. You will have the opportunity to exchange with a mobility professional and with your peers to find practical and methodological ways to support your mobility project.

With the intervention of Marie Le Sourd, secretary general of On the Move; Fanny Bouquerel, in charge of the development of the Roberto Cimetta Fund; Selim Ben Safia, choreographer and artistic director of Al Badil in Tunisia and Myriam Amroun curator and cultural operator, Algiers.

Presentation of the Momkin project


Momkin’s mission is to initiate and accompany innovative artistic and cultural projects in urban or unique spaces, starting in Marseille and in cooperation with Mediterranean cities and territories. The association co-founded and directed the Nassim el-Raqs in situ creation laboratory in Alexandria from 2011 to 2018, which was supported by the Roberto Cimetta Fund.
